Rami joined Slateford Dental in May 2026. His passion for dentistry began with a fascination for biology and the human body, but it quickly evolved into something more meaningful; helping people regain confidence through their smiles.

Rami has a special interest in smile makeovers, veneers, and the art and science of occlusion. He enjoys combining aesthetics with function, taking a meticulous and personalised approach to every treatment he provides. Known for his calm and reassuring manner, Rami takes pride in making patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their journey, always placing their best interests at the centre of his care.

One of the most rewarding moments in his career came when treating an older patient who had been without teeth for many years. After fitting her dentures, she became emotional and told him, “I forgot what it’s like to have teeth again.” Experiences like this continue to reinforce Rami’s belief that dentistry is about far more than clinical treatment – it is about restoring dignity, confidence, and quality of life.

Outside of dentistry, Rami is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor, regularly training and competing across the UK. He is also the host of The White Belt Foreigner podcast, where he speaks with guests about their experiences, challenges, and lessons learnt – something he believes keeps him curious, grounded, and connected to people from all walks of life.
